Profile of the School

Sanskriti School was established in 1998 by the Civil Services Society, formed by the wives of the civil servants belonging to the various branches of the Government of India. The primary aim of the school was to offer quality education to the wards of officers of All India and Allied services and Defence Personnel on transfer. The school has been admitting students from the economically weaker and marginalised backgrounds since 2004. At present, the school admits 25% students from the economically weaker sections of society.

At present almost 3000 students are enrolled from nursery to grade XII who are instructed as per the guidelines laid down by CBSE. The pride of the school is the Learning Centre which has successfully contributed towards inclusive education by helping students with different needs and challenges. The motto of the school is “”Vidhyaya cha Vimuchyate”” which means “”Knowledge is liberation””. This reflects the spirit and the philosophy of Sanskriti wherein every child is encouraged to explore every aspect of learning – in the classrooms, on the field, in music rooms and even on stage. Sanskriti’s mission is to create happy, thinking and feeling Sanskritians who will be change makers.  To facilitate this we include certain programmes and methodologies in our curriculum that inculcate the spirit of understanding, tolerance and empathy.
